Agent Dropkit: Open Skill Directory & Terminal Registry for Coding Agents

When autonomous AI agents exploded, every coding assistant came trapped in a rigid sandbox with limited out-of-the-box abilities. Developers spent hours manually searching GitHub for MCP servers, prompt packages, and custom skill integrations. I created Agent Dropkit as an open registry and directory where engineers can discover verified skills and install them directly from the terminal, enabling agents to execute complex cloud tasks far beyond their defaults.

Coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf are only as capable as the specialized skills and MCP servers connected to them. However, community skills remained fragmented across personal repositories with zero discoverability, no verification or health signals, and tedious manual setup procedures.

Built a neubrutalist web platform and registry using Next.js 16, React 19, NeonDB PostgreSQL, and Prisma. The platform ingests GitHub repositories, parses SKILL.md configurations, provides instant copy-to-clipboard terminal install commands, tracks star counts and install analytics, and features a community upvoting engine with an admin review pipeline.

Solo Creator & Full-Stack Engineer — designed the neubrutalist UI and JetBrains Mono typography, architected the Prisma database schema, implemented Better Auth GitHub OAuth, and built automated repo ingestion and CLI install workflows.
